Doha:
The first chapter of the 14th edition of the Advanced Management Diploma Programme for Sports and Olympic Institutions, in partnership with the International Olympic Committee, was launched at the headquarters of the Qatari Olympic Academy for the fourteenth year in the presence of approximately 34 students from various disciplines and expertise from various Gulf and Arab States.
Programme duration
The diploma programme consists of seven classes distributed during the months of the year, with students attending the Academy ' s headquarters three days a month.
It should be noted that, at the end of the programme and after passing the tests of all classes and submitting the graduation project, the students will receive the diploma certificate issued by the International Olympic Committee, signed by Mr. Thomas Bach, Chairman of the International Olympic Committee, as well as the signature of His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani, Chairman of the Qatari Olympic Committee, and the certificate of completion of each chapter, which will bear the title of each chapter.
Conditions for admission:
Those who have been enrolled in the diploma have been subject to several conditions, notably the fact that they have obtained a bachelor ' s degree in any specialty, or have passed the Olympic Movement principles courses in the sports system (management 1) and the modern management course for sports institutions (management 2), which are periodically conducted by the Qatari Olympic Academy each year with the approval of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to be qualified and equipped to participate in the diploma programme.
It should be noted that the Academy will hold the first management course twice this year. The first will be held next September. The second management course will be held next December, allowing those who wish to attend the next diploma programme to attend these courses in order to meet all the requirements.
Chapter I
"Organization structures of sports and Olympic institutions" was the title of the first chapter of the Advanced Diploma of the Department of Sports and Olympic Institutions, which was lectured by Professor Hisham Al-Aggi, Vice-President of the Omani Federation of School Sports, Director of the Diploma Programme approved by the International Olympic Committee, who held many positions in various fields of sport.
In chapter I, the lecturers addressed the topic of the structure of the Olympic committees, which included several topics with a view to understanding the impact of environmental conditions on the organizations and assessing the organizational structure and roles of individuals within them, as well as the assessment of the regulatory authority (leadership), as well as ways of using information technology in this area and effectively managing organizational change. The scholars also gave an account of the emergence of the Olympic movement and the International Olympic Committee, as well as assumptions in the conduct of work and ideas concerning the organization, such as the appreciation of volunteerism and the belief in the importance of the Olympic movement. The lecturers explained how to study the areas of practical environments on which the International Olympic Committee focused and for which departments or committees had been established. He also presented them with a copy of the organizational structure of the International Olympic Committee. He then reported on the Olympic Charter, the roles and independence of the national Olympic committees, the inter-State Olympic hostels and the relationship of the International Olympic Committee with other institutions such as the national Olympic committees, the continental federations and the national Olympic and non-Olympic federations.
Chapter II
The second chapter of the programme will be held from 5 to 7 March next, as will the second chapter of the diploma programme on strategic planning, in which students will learn how to prepare for the strategic process, how to diagnose the environment of the Olympic Sports Foundation, as well as what strategic vision, values, tasks and objectives, how to develop action plans, as well as oversight and evaluation.

الاكاديمية الاولمبية القطرية تختتم دورة الاعداد النفسي للرياضيين
الدوحة: اختتمت الاكاديمية الأولمبية القطرية اليوم الخميس دورة الإعداد النفسي للرياضيين استمرت الدورة من الخامس ولغاية التاسع من مايو الجاري والتي حضرها ما يزيد عن ثلاثين دارساً ودارسة من داخل دولة قطر وخارجها. تميزت هذه الدورة كون الملتحقين فيها يمثلون العديد من التخصصات الرياضية والإدارية والفنية من لاعبين ومدربين وإداريين ومعالجين ومدرسي تربية بدنية، بالإضافة إلى العديد من الرياضيين السابقين مثل الكابتن عيسى برشم بطل منتخبنا الوطني لألعاب القوى سابقاً في المسافات المتوسطة ووالد بطلينا الأولمبي والعالمي معتز برشم بطل الوثب العالي وكذلك حارس منتخبنا الوطني ونادي السد مشعل برشم، كما حضر الدورة بطل الوثب الثلاثي راشد المناعي ولاعب نادي السد سابقاً حمود اليزيدي وبطل صمله علي صالح الهاجري وغيرهم من الرياضيين البارزين على الساحة المحلية والعالمية.

عرض بحث عن استضافة بطولة العالم للألعاب المائية 2024
الدوحة: استضافت الأكاديمية الأولمبية القطرية الفريق البحثي (SIR) من جامعة قطر، الذي يقوم حاليًا بإجراء بحث حول تنظيم الأحداث الرياضية الكبرى في قطر وتأثيرها على خلق القيمة العامة وبناء القدرات في قطاعي التعليم العالي والرياضة. علمًا بأن هذا البحث تم تمويله من قبل مجلس قطر للبحوث والتطوير والابتكار (QRDIC) لمدة ثلاث سنوات.
