Doha:
The lectures of the second semester of the Advanced Diploma Program for the Management of Sports and Olympic Institutions, entitled "Strategic Planning", were concluded on Thursday at the headquarters of the Qatar Olympic Academy, which was presented by Professor Thierry Zintz, former Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at De Louvain University in Belgium - Director of the Executive Master's Program in Sports Institutions Management, which is currently held in Lausanne.
Dr. Zintz explained the steps to prepare for the strategic process,the most important of which is determining your strategic location, setting priorities and goals, and developing a clear and automated plan for the implementation and management of the plan and other steps, and its requirements through the appropriate solutions raised by sports activities in various fields, in terms of training and qualifying administrative and technical cadres, which creates the appropriate atmosphere for the success of sports competitions, in order to achieve the goals that sports organizations and institutions aspire to reach international levels.
The lecturer discussed – as well- about diagnosing the environment of the Olympic sports institution or strategic analysis of the problems that may face sports institutions, through the SWOT analysis, and how to develop basic steps with the identification of goals to solve these problems, obstacles and find ways to keep pace with major transformations in the sports field.
Then he talked about the vision, values, tasks and strategic goals by applying planning strategies in modern sports management and developing ideal action plans.
Prof. Zintz concluded his lectures by conversing about the monitoring and evaluation of the strategic plans that are developed in the management of sports and Olympic institutions and their impact and impact in this field.

Doha: The Qatari Olympic Academy concluded today ' s psychiatry course for athletes, which lasted from 5 to 9 May and which was attended by more than 30 students from inside and outside the State of Qatar. This course was marked by the fact that its participants represent numerous sports, administrative and artistic disciplines, including athletes, trainers, administrators, physical educators and former athletes, such as Captain Issa Basham, our former national champion of mid-range power games, the father of our Olympic and world champions, a champion of high-founcing championships, our national guard and the Sad Club, and a three-year-old hero of Immunism, a former Al-Sad Club player, Hamud Al-yazidi, a hero of his deafness, Ali Saleh Al-Hajri, and other prominent athletes on the local and global scene.

Research about hosting the World Aquatics Championship 2024
Doha: The Qatar Olympic Academy invited the Sports Impact Researchers (SIR) team from Qatar University who are currently conducting research about organizing mega sports events in Qatar and their impact on public value creation and capacity building in the higher education and sport sectors. Their research is funded by the Qatar Research and Development Innovation Council (QRDIC) for a period of three years.
